- You are not married to a language. You can learn one, and then another. Sometimes you may need 5+ languages for a single project.
- By knowing what problems you want to solve it’s easier to figure out what language will work best for you.
- Knowing product requirements is useful to pick a language. What languages work for your required API’s?
- Books including “dummies” ones are great ways to jump into a subject. Make sure you buy the current edition
- Online education is great, but may require spending some money
- Only try to study ONE hour a day. Over a year you’ll learn a lot and it is actually a goal you can accomplish
