I have been using Plurk for about a week now.  What can I tell you about Plurk..?

Imagine Twitter, with better graphics and a lot more complication.  Plurk allows you to post 140 character messages just like Twitter.  It allows you to “friend” people and to be “fans” of other Plurkers. They have a system where you earn Karma points for posting Plurks and friending people, but frankly I don’t really understand why more karma is better.

All in all I find Plurk to be cute, but that’s all I can say for it.  I still don’t find much real utility out of Twitter so I have no idea why you would use a more complicated version of it.

I do use a WordPress plug-in that updates Plurk every time I create a new post.  I have found though that the anti-flooding rules that Plurk uses end up blocking most of my updates.
