Game Soundtrack Design by Clean Cuts Studio – Baltimore Mobile Meetup January 17 2012
Chris Kennedy of Clean Cuts will talk about what goes into providing a soundtrack for games. From the initial stages of working with the developer on determining the needs of the project, to demoing style ideas, writing the music, and lastly the implementation into the game. He will also discuss ways in which non-music minded people can communicate their ideas about music to composers and the use of live musicians in a project.
Chris Kennedy is a staff composer for Clean Cuts Music, a full service audio house in Baltimore/DC. In his time there, he has composed music for television shows and commericals, films, radio and videogames. His music has been featured on the Discovery Channel, Travel Channel, National Geographic, The Weather Channel, TNT and NBC to name a few. In the games world, he has worked closely with Big Fish Games on several installments of their flagship titles Mystery Case Files, the Drawn series, and Hidden Expedition in addition to numerous games in their mobile division. Outside of his work at Clean Cuts, Chris performs as a guitarist around the Baltimore/DC market and as a studio musician and songwriter.
