    Eli,

Thank you so much for your work in making these videos. I can’t tell you how much I have benefited from viewing them. I am a recent graduate and I feel as though I am learning this stuff for the first time. Networking was a huge gap in terms of my education.

I have a few questions however. First, I’m a little confused about what you are actually referring to when you say “router”. Are you using the term interchangeably with a modem? Is there a difference between what you are referring to and a wireless router? What layer would wireless routers and modems regardless of if its DSL, Cable, or Fios etc. be on? Lastly, hasn’t the OSI model been replaced with the TCP/IP model?

  • Ricardo O’Brien

I like the laymen terms. It’s helps me take all the big words used from text book (lol) and put to practical use. If you need one of those flunky interns let me know I would not mind working for the great Eli. How is that for an ego booster? Seriously let me know, later.
